One of the things about living by myself with the two kitties is that we never have photos of the three of us. This one was taken by me with my camera phone. I have an Android phone... it's so hard to figure out where the "Take Photo" button when not looking at it.

Ah well, it's all good. I'm very happy living with these two. And not having a person taking photos of me is not all that bad especially considering I usually despise photos taken of me. I'm so difficult to please hehe

Hello All!

Forgive me for not posting new Chani and 9 adventures. This past weekend and on through to Monday, I was busy celebrating (and dreading) my 40th birthday. I had a few friends come up from Los Angeles and spend 4 days with the kitties and me.

Needless to say much fun was had and much food was eaten. Both Faye and Tina are slightly allergic to cats and kept the kitties out of the guest room as much as possible. The funny part is that 9 and Chani don't go into the guest room all that often. However, with the futon bed pulled out and PEOPLE in that room, oh boy was that the place to be! 9 did his best to sneak into the guest room behind Tina's back. 9 lay on Faye's lap as she played on my iPad while lying on the couch. Earlier, Chani lay between Faye and myself.

Despite allergies and 9 being his lovable naughty self, both of my friends had a blast playing with him. They tried to play with Chani too. Tina loved how Chani would fall over and play while lying on her back.

Faye stated her preference for Chani (but not in 9's presences) but did say that 9 is a sweetiepie/cutiepie boy too.

Anyhow, that is my excuse and I'm sticking with it. Now, I am off to enjoy my midlife crisis lol...

I, on the other paw, have not fallen at all. Surely this display of sure-footed prowess must be rewarded, yes?

Sleepy Saturday night.

I am becoming such a couch potato. I just love sitting on my couch and my darling 9 and Chani cuddle up on me. However, as you can see above, it can get a bit difficult. I do have quite the lap, but, my kitties have gotten so big, they don't fit on my lap. So, last night, 9 decided to plop on top of Chani... back in the day, they could lie on top of each other and still sleep. These days, not so much. 9 is just too heavy!

Chani moved not too long after I took the above photo. But, she came back pretty quickly after I moved 9 over a bit.

Chani settled back into her spot.

9 curled up next to me and used my knee as a pillow.

I just sat there for about an hour or so, watching tv and playing on my iPad. Talk about heaven!
