Snuggles on a Tuesday???

Mom is really bad with timing. She should post this on Sunday, but is posting it now.

Mom's busy again...

We are slightly perturbed. Mom has a pottery sale coming up this weekend and is either madly rushing about or too busy to give us the requisite attention we desire. Yes, we understand that it is the biggest sale of the year for her and yes, we understand that she needs to get all this done because she wants more green papers to spend on us and our home. BUT still!!!

Above you see one of the prototype pendants that Mom is now making. She did start out making kitty pendants but they are not yet finished. For some reason, she finished this puppy pendant first. She was inspired by Dash of wee furries fame.

Yes, that is strike two. She might make it up to us with treats and if she shows off the other pendants that she has made, especially the kitty pendants (providing she takes photos of them!)

9 and Chani

Sleepy Saturday night.

I am becoming such a couch potato. I just love sitting on my couch and my darling 9 and Chani cuddle up on me. However, as you can see above, it can get a bit difficult. I do have quite the lap, but, my kitties have gotten so big, they don't fit on my lap. So, last night, 9 decided to plop on top of Chani... back in the day, they could lie on top of each other and still sleep. These days, not so much. 9 is just too heavy!

Chani moved not too long after I took the above photo. But, she came back pretty quickly after I moved 9 over a bit.

Chani settled back into her spot.

9 curled up next to me and used my knee as a pillow.

I just sat there for about an hour or so, watching tv and playing on my iPad. Talk about heaven!

Get another couch?

I've only got one couch in the living room. So, I get to sit down only if I get to the couch before 9 and Chani. Sometimes, I lie down on the couch and I become part of the resting area with Chani on my chest and stomach while 9 sleeps on my legs.

This is slightly problematic if I have people over... Hmmm... maybe I'll have to get a nice comfy chair for me.
