Happy 2nd Gotcha Day to Us!

Guess what! It's our 2nd Gotcha Day! Mom is so pleased that we are such a big part of her life. And we are so pleased that we let her adopt us!

Here's a picture of us from when we first arrived. Yes, we have grown up a lot since then.

Mom has been telling her friends that it's our 2nd Gotcha Day and everyone keeps remarking how it doesn't seem like it's been 2 years. Crazy how fast time flies, huh?

Little Man's first Birthday Party

2 weekends ago, Little Man had his first birthday party. He had a cake specially made for him (Angel food with goat shaped oat cookies)

He even got dressed up for it.

The guests wore party hats.

And everyone got to chow down on some yummy greens, seeds, crackers and such...

It was definitely a special day for him!

We are home!!!

Well, the condo pipe replacement went a lot faster than we all expected. So, now we are back home in our condo, sleeping, eating, drinking and keeping Mom warm. Mom needs to clean our home in a big way. Lots of empty boxes and trash needs to be taken out.

We do miss Grandpa and Grandma, but we are happy to be home.

Mom still has a few more pictures from Grandpa and Grandma's to post, but that will have to wait.

Happy Valentine's Day all! We hope you all have a lovely day. This year, we are Mom's Special Valentine's.

Now, we have to confess, Mom has been complaining about the whole bed situation. She says that she cannot wait to get back home to our "lovely queen sized" bed. Honestly, we have no idea why she thinks that. We love being at Grandpa and Grandma's. We get lots of love and treats and attention. And frankly, we are quite comfortable on our bed. Look... here some proof.

Well, here's a wider angle shot of us... We're only occupying the lower half of the bed. Yes, we're in the center, but Mom has enough room at the top, right? And if she wants to stretch out, there's about a foot of room on either side of this twin sized bed for her legs. Mom should just curl up like we kitties and we'd all be just fine!

We just love Grandpa and Grandma's front bay window. The sun shines down brightly and we get all sleepy
