Happy 7th Gotcha Day to 9 and Chani

I can't imagine my life without these two kitties. Here are some images from the first two blog posts. They were so tiny!

They are not as close as they once were, but that is fine.  9 is still my lover boy with a heart full of fun and mischief and Chani is still my biscuit making princess.

How I love you both!

Sheet changing help in the New Year

As always, I, Chani, helped Mama Marlene change the sheets last week. -- yes, she is behind already sigh...

After assisting her, Mama M gave me some lovely chin skritches

Belly rubs

And a nose boop -_-

What did the boys do?

They waited til the bed was done and had a snuggle. Talk about not helping out!

In which Chani snoopervises making the bed

Chani: One of my favorite times is when Mama Marlene strips the bed and changes the sheets. I always help her out  by making sure all the sheets and blankets are properly furred.

Looks pretty good here

Oop, missed a spot. Let me get that for you.

Not done yet.

Give me a minute. I am double checking everything.

Ok. All clear!

Nice place for a lovely stretch. Purrrrrrrr

Thursday tidings from the Chan-Chan girl

Mama Marlene calls me Princess Grumpy Pants quite often.

Can you blame me when she puts ridiculous hats on me?

Well, I am still her best clothing model. Here I am helping her with sizing and styling. She isn't using pre-made patterns when she sews us outfits. She is doing it all on her own with very little sewing training. She is way too stubborn and impatient to actually take classes these days.

As well, such is life.

Selfies

Unfortunately, the human had to be in the selfies... But, we still love her.

No, Chani is not pleased.

9 doesn't mind.

Sweet Popoki is ok with it too.

And Mama Marlene took care of a bunch of kitties this summer. First up, Kazi who she has posted before.

Kazi's sisfur, Buddy

And a new friend, Shiro

Chan-Chan girl

How I love my Pink Blankie of Doom. Especially when Mama Marlene lies down on the couch and I can claim her lap.

And really, it's about time she features me on the blog!

Brrrrrr or Chani loves the space heater

Aaaaaaaah, Mom has turned on the space heater for me.

I looooove you, Space Heater. Such lovely warmth you produce.

Sigh... So very wonderful

I had started to turn on the heater right before bed, just to take the chill out of the air and because I wasn't using the heater. It was chilly, but not that cold.

Until last night. The temperature has really dropped and our condo's heater is broken as in the electric pilot light igniter is not working. My handyman friend took a look, but he can't fix it. I have a call in to a contractor who might be able to stop by tomorrow and check it out.

Oh, and PG&E was useless. If I just needed a pilot light relight, I would have to wait til 12/11. Yes, that is the next available appointment. And I couldn't get anyone on the phone at PG&E to ask about options (I wasn't sure it was a pilot light relight that was needed) and when I emailed that question, the response was: PG&E does not do repairs... So very helpful.

I am freezing and so are the cats. So, we have two space heaters going on in the bathroom and bedroom as well as the electric blanket. The only good thing is that the cold is leading to some major cuddle time with all three cats at the same time.

Oh my goodness! Are we back???

Hi everyone, I know it has been a very long time. I just downloaded the blogger app and decided to blog about my beloved kitties this way! It is so much more convenient. I will probably start blogging about my clay art more regularly too.

Well, 9, Chani and Sheamus are doing well. They are happily living, eating and pooping in our little condo. Sheamus had a health scare a few months back. I will post about that later.

And there is an addition to the cat family, just not in our household.

So, here are pictures of who you really want to see!

Resting places

Mom has been trying to go to bed earlier. She gets up really early to go to work. So, we have been taking advantage of her as a heat source and comfortable resting platform. We boys prefer her toes. Chani prefers her lap.

Tuesday Tidings

Mom has been very busy of late. She has been making and painting a ton of mugs! There are only 36 or so, but it is still a lot. And so, she has not been blogging about us. She completely missed Tockstober too! Bad Marlene!!!

We, on the other paw, have been very helpful.

Chani and I sometimes share my new sleeping place to supervise the painting.

But, usually, I just take over the bed with my cuteness.

Chani has been sharing her space with Sheamus Popoki. She even shared the shelf space with Sheamus too. Mom has been very surprised.

Sheamus makes sure to check that Mom's brushes are properly taken care of.

Or he just looks handsome while monitoring the Blu-Ray player
Or, he keeps her seat warm when she gets up.

As for what she is working on:

Yes, she is making mugs and painting them like the Minions from Despicable Me. These were all orders as are the mugs on the table. All commissions and all sold. Makes for a busy, tired but happy Marlene.

And... Mom got to see Margaret the kitten again when she delivered some pieces to be fired.
Margaret is growing up into a pretty girl cat!
