Synchronized Snoozing Sunday
I was going to do some carving after breakfast and watching one episode of Poirot, but this happened. I am not sure when they will let me get up again.

Oh my goodness! Are we back???
Hi everyone, I know it has been a very long time. I just downloaded the blogger app and decided to blog about my beloved kitties this way! It is so much more convenient. I will probably start blogging about my clay art more regularly too.
Well, 9, Chani and Sheamus are doing well. They are happily living, eating and pooping in our little condo. Sheamus had a health scare a few months back. I will post about that later.
And there is an addition to the cat family, just not in our household.
So, here are pictures of who you really want to see!

Resting places
Mom has been trying to go to bed earlier. She gets up really early to go to work. So, we have been taking advantage of her as a heat source and comfortable resting platform. We boys prefer her toes. Chani prefers her lap.

Tuesday Tidings
Mom has been very busy of late. She has been making and painting a ton of mugs! There are only 36 or so, but it is still a lot. And so, she has not been blogging about us. She completely missed Tockstober too! Bad Marlene!!!
We, on the other paw, have been very helpful.
Chani and I sometimes share my new sleeping place to supervise the painting.
But, usually, I just take over the bed with my cuteness.
Chani has been sharing her space with Sheamus Popoki. She even shared the shelf space with Sheamus too. Mom has been very surprised.
Sheamus makes sure to check that Mom's brushes are properly taken care of.
Or he just looks handsome while monitoring the Blu-Ray player
Or, he keeps her seat warm when she gets up.
As for what she is working on:
Yes, she is making mugs and painting them like the Minions from Despicable Me. These were all orders as are the mugs on the table. All commissions and all sold. Makes for a busy, tired but happy Marlene.
And... Mom got to see Margaret the kitten again when she delivered some pieces to be fired.
Margaret is growing up into a pretty girl cat!

Happy Birthday, 9!!!
Yes, indeed. Today is 9's 5th birthday. I cannot believe it. My sweet, cuddly, purring little darling is still kitten-like and just so wonderful. 9 is a true balm for my soul. He reads my moods and knows exactly what to do. When I work from home, he figures that I missed him so much that I couldn't go to work and therefore, he simply must sit in my lap and get as much attention as I can give him. I love this boy so much and I am so very grateful that I adopted him... or rather, he chose me as his person.
Let's take a look at this boy over the years.
Here is 9's first official portrait. His coat and markings were so very light back then. I adopted him when he was about 5 months old. Not too tiny. He was the perfect size to hug.
The Brave slayer of the Evil Feather toy. 9 showed me here how he liked to play fetch. He still does on occasion. Makes me wish I was home more often so I could see his antics.
Here is 9 while we were living with my parents, aged about 1 year and 4 months. His coat and markings had really darkened by then.
Here is his official 2011 old portrait.
Snoozing with Chani. This doesn't happen much anymore, unless I am sitting on the couch and they share my legs. It's kind of sad, but I think Chani might be happier.
Hanging with his brother who is much more willing to play than with sister, Chani.
And here is the portrait I took this morning. 9 let me cuddle and hug him. And tonight, we shall all celebrate with tuna.
Happy 5th Birthday, 9. Many happy returns!
