Sigh...

No pictures yet. The external hard drive died again, so Mom will have to replace it AND this time, transfer data and not use it again!

This does mean that she will have to reinstall her favorite MMORPG World of Warcraft as soon as she finds the discs. Sigh...

But, we have forgiven her the stress she put us through. We've been sleeping with her quite comfortably in our typical spots. 9 stays between her feet at the foot of the bed while I snuggle next to her under her arm. It's quite warm and comfy there.

She will post pictures one day!

Traumatized!

Well, not so much really.

Mom moved Chani and me to the condo place on Saturday. We spent most of the time hiding under the headboard of her bed. After a few hours, we explored some of the tools that Phil (Little Man's dad) left behind, but didn't really relax. And I did wake up Mom the next morning.

The next day was full of loud noises and more hiding by us. And there was this strange little intruder who kept making these little bleating noises and Mom kept cooing over. Mom brought Chani over to meet Little Man, but Chani just ignored him. Note from Marlene: Yes, that was Little Man. Phil brought him over because he's so young and needed to be taken care of while Phil finished installing my stove and dishwasher. Little Man busied himself with walking around, chewing on plastic and shelf liners... He's so cute!

AND THEN, to top off all the other stresses, another introoder came over and spent the night with us! I made sure to check her out and hiss at her a few times, but she ignored me. That kitty introoder hid where Chani and I hid at night. So, we stayed out of the room. I slept on the couch and Chani slept on her tower. Can you believe that that kitty had the audacity to growl at me the next morning? Note from Marlene 2: the second kitty is Chiyo who belongs to my good friends Emma and Aki. They asked me to watch Chiyo for the night for certain reasons. So, I couldn't say "no". There were no altercations between the cats, but there were a few hisses and growls.

Well, fortunately, that kitty left Monday night. Now, we're slowly taking over the house and making it ours. It's pretty good here. Chani and I are having fun doing some THoE and digging through boxes Mom has half unpacked. Although we didn't sleep with Mom last night, we did keep her company in the morning. And earlier, we had a great time snuggling with her on the couch.

Mom did take some photos of us and will post them later. Right now, she has to put together a pantry.

The Dwindling Box Jungle part 1

Yes, I know, more of me and no Chani photos. But, it's more about the Box Jungle right now... There's some serious slash and burning going on here. Not literally, but you get the meaning.

More stuff disappearing...

I have to make sure the most important items are still here... Our food!!! hehe

The Box Jungle

This is the box jungle that Chani and I have been exploring since last August. Originally, it wasn't this messy, but Mom apparently needed "stuff" and opened a few boxes up.

Another view of it... poor Grandma. She really missed having a CLEAN living room hehe.

BUT, I sure appreciated all the ins and outs. So did Chani.

Moooommmm!!!

Mom has been spending a lot of time at the "condo" and the box jungle is dwindling fast! Chani is doing ok, but on occasion, she sends out her location mews. Once Mom calls out and lets her know everything is ok, Chani comes running over and does her cute blinky thing that makes Mom all googly.

BUT, with Mom being all busy and such, she's not blogging and showing off how handsome I am and how adorable Chani is... We will totally give her a hard time until she posts the pictures she has taken of us, the diminishing box jungle AND our new home.

GRRRRRR...

purrs to you from 9 and Chani (none for Mom! just kidding, we still purr for her hehe)
----------
Hi All,

I know how remiss I've been. I'm sorry! I've been unpacking and putting up bookshelves and closet shelves and railings. My hope is to move us all over this coming weekend. Squeee!!!

I promise to post as soon as I can. OH! and please don't judge my mismatched furniture hehe... I know you won't, but my anal retentive side gets up in arms while my whimsical artistic side just loves being mismatched.

Thank you for your patience!

A belated Happy Easter

This Easter, Mom was out of the house a lot. She went to two Easter Parties! Can you believe it? Well, we know she had a good time. The most important party was at the wood kiln where there was a new friend.

Everyone, meet Little Man!

Little Man is a pygmy goat who was only 14 days old when Mom met him.

That's his Daddy, Phil, who is holding him.

Phil likes to feed Little Man with a bottle. Little Man was trained to drink from a cup but Phil prefers bottles.

Here he is by the fireplace. He's soo tiny!
Scratching his ear. He's got pretty amazing balance for a 2 week old, don't you think?

Post milk yummy time :)

Now, we know that you want to see us, so here's a photo of Chani and me on the brown tower. I do this a lot. Mom thinks I'm communing with Ceiling Cat or the Great Cat. I'm just praying that the condo thing gets done soon. Our box jungle is slowly diminishing and Chani gets a little freaked out.

But, Mom says things are moving along quite nicely and soon we will have a new place to be in! She promises to load photos of the box jungle soon.

Hope you're all having a happy Tuesday!
