Brushing 9

This pile o' fur is what came off of 9 using the Brushinator. It's been a very long time since I brushed him (he's not a big fan of brushings).

What you don't see is how covered in fur I was after the brushing. It took about 3 sheets of that rolling masking tape de-furer thingimajig for me to get clear.

After this, I brushed Chani. Significantly less fur came off of her, but somehow about the same amount of fur ended up on me. Hmmm...

  1. That's so funny...we go through that rolling masking tape thingie like it's nobody's business...with three long-haired Persian cats in the house, keeping fur off of clothes is a losing battle :)

  2. That is a lot of fur. My two are short haired but I can still get a lot off them!

  3. Ha! That's why I always (OK, almost always) furminate just before bed... shed the clothes and then wash them!

  4. Clearly one of the great philosophical questions! Is the Brushinator similar to the Furminator?

  5. Oops! Yes, it's the Furminator. Got my terminology all messed up ;)

  7. We are making good use of the Furminator (and about three other grooming tools) for our new foster. The brush leavings are enough to make another kitty! I think I've given up getting all the hair off of me after each session and am resorting to having specific grooming attire, to be worn only while brushing :). Reduces the laundry (sort of).
